Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed about the substantial variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area daily. The company issue created for intervention ordeals a substantial sassa influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
